Sweet Temptations – Homemade Butterfingers
This recipe really caught my attention on Pinterest. I knew I had to give it a try. What I found so surprising about this recipe was it only has three ingredients and one of the ingredients was candy corn. Yes, candy corn. This recipe calls for you to melt candy corn. I had no idea you could melt candy corn. The candy corn really gives these homemade Butterfingers the right texture. This recipe is easy to make and really does taste like Butterfingers.
Ingredients:
16oz jar peanut butter
Melt candy corn in microwave on high 1 minute. Stir and continue cooking in 15-second intervals until melted, stirring after each interval. Stir in peanut butter. Spread mixture in an 8×8 pan lined with parchment. Cool completely. Cut into squares. Dip in melted chocolate candy coating. Lay on waxed paper to set.
Enjoy!

I had to come to see how to make Butterfingers and it seems so easy…but you are SO evil (LOL) for posting this. I cannot even imagine making this unless I had my car running so I could bring it somewhere and not leave it in my house.
Love the little “monsters”, kind of fits with you being so “evil”. I think I will follow your blog and keep an eye on you.
Must try.
