Rice Krispies Tuna Casserole
This recipe had me very curious…tuna and rice krispies?
1 can (6.5 oz) tuna (drained)
3 cups rice krispies
1 can (10.75 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1 can (10.75 oz) chicken noodle soup
Mix above ingredients together.
Sprinke cheddar cheese, as desired, on top
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
Serves 4.
I know the recipe sounds weird, but my husband and son loved this dish. My husband even had it for breakfast.

I would have never thought of using Rice Krispies. Cool!
It is definitely a unique combination, Sherry.
What a crazy combination of foods! I would never have thought to put these together. I will take your husbands word that this is tasty! Thanks for linking to the Hearth and Soul Hop!
Crazy it is, Christy. I made it and asked my husband and son what they thought was the “secret” ingredient. Neither guessed it and were very surprised and amazed when I told them it was Rice Krispies.
Very interesting, Ive never heard of a recipe like this before. You said your family liked it…how did you like it? I am co-hosting a ‘Clean Out Your Pantry’ challenge (details on my blog) & I have all these ingredients in my pantry. I might give it a try! Thanks for sharing!
I liked it as well, Crystal. Hope you give it a try.
What a fun idea for a crunchy topping–and the slight sweetness from the Rice Krispies is probably a nice balance to the strong tuna flavor. Looks simple and filling–thanks for the recipe!
It is Ann. Not to mention it’s a great conversation piece. Hope you try it.
